Volunteering Opportunities
The YMCA started out as a voluntary organisation and today it is still fundamental to our existence. We offer international volunteering opportunities through the European Voluntary Service. We sometimes also have local volunteering opportunities across most areas of our work.

Work Experience
We are frequently approached by individuals, schools and colleges looking for work experience placements. We do our best to offer suitable placements in our childcare, fitness, catering and community programmes departments.
If you would like to be considered for work experience please contact us in writing detailing exactly what you are looking for and the duration of the work experience, including dates.
