Welcome to Bath YMCA
Our organisation is committed to providing outstanding services to the communities we work with. We have sites and activities in Bath, North East Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. Our work varies from excellent value accommodation in Bath city centre to childcare facilities across the various counties.
A great city centre gym
We are very proud of our health and fitness facilities and the skill and experience of our gym team. All our gym equipment is some of the latest and best from Technogym chosen for its ease of use and reputation in the industry for quality. Our instructors are ready to welcome you and get you started with an individual training plan, which will be regularly reviewed and amended as your fitness improves. There is also a great range of classes (from yoga to circuit training) available in our dance studio and spin cycle area.
From our clients...
I am a great fan of Bath YMCA: two of my children have benefitted from their wonderful nursery care and now use the out of school clubs – fantastic! I am also a regular user of the gym in Bath and love the friendly atmosphere. I particularly enjoy the classes as they keep me motivated and on track for the full 45 minutes or hour. (Pat)

The Big Bath Sleep-Out
Fri 7th March 2014 - Alice Park, Bath
Bath based homeless charity Julian House is inviting members of the public to ditch the comfort of their warm beds for one night and spend just one night under the stars in Alice Park
Your support will help raise much needed funds for Julian House and its various projects supporting homeless men and women in Bath, West Wilts & North Somerset..
No one is under any illusion that spending one night under the stars could possibly replicate what it is like to be homeless and on the streets, especially in the recent awful conditions. After taking part in the Big Bath Sleep-Out you can go home, have a warm bath, have a nice breakfast and chat to family or friends about your experience, maybe even go back to bed to catch up on the sleep you lost the night before. What would you do if you didn’t have your home to go back to? Where would you go? By sleeping out for just one night you will be helping others who may have to sleep rough every night.
The 6th Big Bath Sleep Out is open to individual members of the public, organisations, families, work teams etc (under 16’s would need to be accompanied by an adult and those between 16 and 18 need signed consent from a parent or carer). No tents allowed – just cardboard, plastic sheeting and plenty of warm clothes. Alice Park Cafe will be open for paid snacks until 11.00pm and in the morning a hot drink & a complimentary bacon roll or muffin will be available or those taking part.
Pre-registration is essential. Further details and an online registration form can be found here
or contact Cathy Adcock on 01225 354656.
