Chef/Cook

An experienced Chef/Cook required for a busy Bath hostel, must have City and Guild 1 & 2 certificate, along with plenty of experience.

25 hours per week - alternate weekends (breakfast shift 3 1/2 hours).

Typical shift 6.30 am - 2.00 pm /2.00 pm 8.30 pm (at the latest).

To be able to work well within a small team, responsibility for kitchen and kitchen staff whislt on shift. To be able to cook homecook meals from raw ingredients.

Must be flexible and able to cope with large group (up to 180 people) as well as smaller group 20 - 40 people.

Also catering for a nursery school - preparing healthly menus for children aged 18 months to 4 years.

Must have experience of buffet work and special diets.

To be Involved in planning menus and some paperwork alongside the catering manager. 

May suit experienced qualified chef looking to reduce hours.

Hourly rate £8.50
