Bath YMCA currently operates 4 nurseries in Bath and Wiltshire and is committed to providing an exceptional standard of care in all centres.:

• YMCA Green Shoots Nursery, Trowbridge
• YMCA Little Shoots Nursery, Trowbridge
• YMCA King's Nursery, Malmesbury

Whilst each nursery has its own identity and operates slightly differently, each share a common YMCA ethos that differentiates them from other providers.

The 4 nursery managers regularly meet and work together to share good practice and constantly strive to deliver outstanding care. Staff vary in skills and experience with many staff qualified to degree level or holding nationally recognised childcare qualifications. Other staff are currently studying towards approved qualifications.

Peace of Mind

All four nurseries are registered with Ofsted and links to their latest reports are available from their individual pages on this website All staff and volunteers have enhanced CRB clearance before starting work.

Free Pre-School Sessions

Each child in the UK is entitled to 15 hours of free pre-school sessions a week. This comes into effect from the term after their 3rd birthday.
